Send the engagement letter before the client leaves the parking lot.
Set up your engagement letter, fee agreement or intake form once. After that, sending it is the client’s name and email. The client signs from their phone or computer, and you get a completed PDF with its audit certificate.
Built for how firms actually work
Place fields once, reuse them
Upload your engagement letter, place the signature, date and text fields, and save it as a template. Rename the signers “Client” and “Attorney” so anyone in the office can send it.
Send in under a minute
Pick the template, type the client’s name and email, send. No re-placing fields for every new client.
Client first, then countersign
On Business and Pro, the attorney’s signature request only goes out after the client has signed.
Looks like it came from your office
Signing emails come from “[your name] via Tarchos Sign” (your firm’s name on Pro) and replies go to your office. Business adds your color; Pro puts your logo and name on the signing page and certificate.
A record for the file
Each signer’s views, consent, signature, timestamp, IP and device are logged, and a completion certificate is attached to the finished PDF.
Private by default
No public document links. Files are encrypted at rest and access is role-based.

Frequently asked questions
- Does Tarchos Sign keep a defensible record of signing?
- Yes. Each document has a tamper-evident audit trail that records when it was sent, viewed, consented to, and signed, along with timestamp, IP address, and device for each signer. A completion certificate is appended to the finished PDF and the original content is hashed so later changes are detectable.
- Can the client sign first and the attorney countersign after?
- Yes, on Business and Pro. Turn on “sign in order” and the attorney is only emailed once the client has signed. On other plans every signer is emailed at the same time.
- Does it integrate with Clio, MyCase or PracticePanther?
- Not today. Tarchos Sign works alongside your practice-management software: download the completed PDF, which includes its completion certificate, and file it to the matter as you do now. If your practice-management plan already includes unlimited e-signatures, you may not need us.
- Will you help us set it up?
- Yes. While we are small, we personally help new firms get their first templates ready — send us the engagement letter or intake form you use most and we will help you set it up. Email [email protected] or use the contact page.
- Are electronic signatures acceptable for legal documents?
- Electronic signatures are generally enforceable under the ESIGN Act and UETA, but certain documents (such as wills and some court filings) may be excluded or require special handling. This is not legal advice — confirm requirements for your matter and jurisdiction.
- Can the signing experience show my firm’s brand?
- Yes. Add your firm’s accent color on Business, and your full logo and name (white-label) on Pro, so client-facing pages and emails look like your firm.
