End-User License Agreement & Terms of Service

By installing or using Tarchos Remote Support, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use this software.

1. Acceptance of Terms

This End-User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (“User”) and Tarchos (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of the Tarchos Remote Support software application and any associated services (collectively, the “Software”).

By clicking “Install,” checking the agreement checkbox, or otherwise using the Software, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement.

2. Description of Software

Tarchos Remote Support is a remote desktop and technical support application that allows authorized Tarchos support staff to connect to your device to provide IT assistance. The Software facilitates encrypted remote sessions over Tarchos-operated infrastructure.

You may use the Software solely for the purpose of receiving authorized technical support from Tarchos staff. Specifically:

Each remote support session requires your active participation. A support technician cannot connect to your device without you sharing your unique session ID and one-time password. You retain full control and may end any session at any time by closing the application.

Sessions may be observed or logged by Tarchos for quality assurance, security, and support documentation purposes. By initiating a session, you consent to this monitoring.

During a remote support session, the support technician will have visual access to your screen and, with your permission, control of your input devices. Tarchos will not:

6. Intellectual Property

The Tarchos Remote Support application is built on open-source software and proprietary branding owned by Tarchos. All trademarks, service marks, and logos associated with “Tarchos” are the property of Tarchos. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. TARCHOS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TARCHOS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL TARCHOS’S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Termination

This Agreement is effective until terminated. Your rights under this Agreement will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and uninstall it from your devices.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be resolved in the jurisdiction in which Tarchos operates.

11. Changes to This Agreement

Tarchos reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Software following any modification constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
